Sometimes, rarely in our industry, we come across a client so profoundly amazing, that we could spend all of our free time working on their business and would do it for free. The Arizona Art Alliance is just that client.

In July of 2010, TRA and the Arizona Art Alliance joined forces once again. The Alliance had recently secured a permanent exhibition space. Along with this new space came a whole new set of marketing challenges. Instead of hosting two major art shows and sales a year, now the Alliance was open for business five days a week, in a retail setting, and needed to something it had never done before...generate daily foot traffic. In addition, this new space meant that the Alliance could host many more special events throughout the year.

To start this new engagement,TRA opened its PR toolbox and, along with the help of its highly-skilled PR Intern team courtesy of the ASU Walter Cronkite School of Communications, set to work getting the word out! From Facebook, Twitter, and Art Blogs, to street marketing, building awareness was job one. Next, we designed a new communications program and updated, overhauled or redesigned existing marketing collateral and added email marketing and other tools to the Alliance's marketing toolbox. Social media has now moved front and center for the Alliance. From Youtube videos, to daily Twitter feeds, articles in local, regional and national media, to simple tweaks of the Alliance's existing website, TRA continues to work to ensure that the Alliance receives the recognition it deserves, the gallery sees greater foot traffic with every passing day, that Alliance artists show and sell their work, and that the Alliance's Community Outreach programs continue to garner the support they so justly need.
